Credentialing Requirements
All candidates being placed into healthcare facilities in Australia must meet credentialing requirements prior to their first shift or interview. Requirements vary by facility but the following is the standard minimum documentation set. Candidates should bring original documents to the interview (not copies). Facility HR will sight originals and take copies on the day. If any documents are expired or pending renewal, advise disclosure upfront with evidence of renewal in progress

Mandatory Documents |
1. AHPRA Registration — Current and active registration with AHPRA. Must be verified via the AHPRA Register of Practitioners. Must be unrestricted. 2. Working With Children Check (WWCC) — Valid state-issued WWCC. Victoria: Employee-type (not Volunteer). Must not be expired. 3. National Police Check — Issued within the last 12 months. Must be ACIC-accredited (e.g. Fit2Work, National Crime Check). 4. Immunisation Records — Hepatitis B (3-dose + serology), Influenza (current season), COVID-19 (per facility policy, min. 2 doses), MMR/Varicella (immunity evidence). 5. CPR Certificate — HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Must be current (renewed annually). |

6. Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent (e.g. ARC ALS2). 7. Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in the relevant specialty. 8. Manual Handling certificate (facility-specific training may be required on Day 1). |
