Legal Action During Review
No. While your hardship application is under review, no recovery or legal action will be initiated against your account.
RBI guidelines require:
- All recovery actions are paused from the date of hardship application submission
- No recovery agents will contact you while your case is active
- Your account will not be classified as NPA while under formal hardship review
- You have the right to be heard and to negotiate repayment terms before any action is taken
- If your application is declined, you will be given written notice and 30 days to respond before any recovery action begins
